How do I render greyscale bitmaps into terrain, or is this a feature of DarkBASIC pro?
or has this been implemented... yet?
Should i write dll support for it?

This is a feature of DBPro. However, it probably wouldn't be that hard to write a small program that converts a greyscale image into a set of matrix heights.

I believe there's a tutorial on www.darkbasic.net now moved to some other site I can't remember.

If you're using matrices, many of the marix editors have an option for this. If you're using BSPs, GenSurf will do the trick, but you often will have to manually clean up some of the vertices.

well if you can load a .dll that means you have memblocks so you could load a bitmap and write that to a memblock then write a parser to read the greyscale values out of the memblock to matrix height data, would save you writing the .dll, but like was mentioned above, someone has probably already done that

Don't bother using the point() command, it's hellish slow
