Have you tried changing their Main and shoot scripts? Right Click on the character to open up the settings menu, and replace the basic scripts with something better.

I think you will have better luck in the scripts forum.

change the plrdistwithin to 500

Wisemen are hard to find, they are tarnished by sayings and quotes that are not of their true nature.

I change several things to make enimies more alert.

1= Change the Veiw Cone Angle
2= Change the "Main and "Shoot" scripts (as done below)

Gunner:
Main= "Pace.fpi"
Shoot= "Shootclose.fpi"

Sniper:
Main= "Sniper.fpi"
Shoot= "Shoot.fpi"

3= Change the postion of the charachters
4= Change their surrounding envoirment
5= In the scripts, change the noiseheard=X command.

I hear coffee works! Sorry guys I had to do it. YOu can always set them to always active edit the fpe file and make the plrdistwithin to..yeah what Les horribres said... You have to be carefull though if you set ot to great of a distance then you stand a chance of getting shot through the floor or a wall. I know from experiance.

lol! That's funny, Reality Forgotten!

To make enemies more alert you could adjust some scripts or do what G4fan or Les Horribres said.

Man, I wish I knew what "spex" meant.

"change the plrdistwithin to 500"

This might seem off-topic, but how do you do that?

"

go to the files\scriptbank folder, then open the people folder, then open the cautious script with notepad or your favourite word program, there is a line in the script that has a word called 'plrdistwithin=400' change it to 'plrdistwithin=500' instead

so what's the job?
