correct me if im wrong but a .dbo is just any supported model type convwerted into dbpro format

if so can you type up code for just one object and export the object with in built code as a .dbo so that u can later place that object in a map editor and it will already be programmed.

so that u can individually program what each object has to do rather than programming each one in the engine code and using alot of position object commands to get them into the map editor rather than just placing them in as entities (like using doom3 radiant or 3d world studio)

thanks in advance for any help

yes the .dbo format is the fastest in load times for DBP and most models can be converted to the format from say 3ds cob obj dxf etc..

there is a converter lying around for free to dbo

you could write your own exporter for the file format.
Im not sure if there is a save DBO command within DBP.

you can build your own map editor with as many features as you like.
there are heaps of examples around for dragging objects in 3d with the mouse.
