Newcomers DBPro Corner / Slowness????

Hi All,

I have just purchased DarkBasic Pro and I am running it on the following:

Athlon 1 gig
256 Mb Ram
S3 Twister Laptop Graphics card
Cd / Dvd drive

I have also downloaded the dbpro patch 4.
The problem is that the program is running very slowly!!!
Is it because of my specs?
Or something to do with the program.
If the above is there anything I can do to make the program run faster
????
Please Help!!!

Try setting "windowed/full screen" in the IDE settings
You may need to download the latest drivers for your graphic card as well..
and also check your DirectX version..to be at least DX 8.1
