I've been working on a game, which is now looking splendid and I thought, it should also look just as fine at it is. Now, I drawed a picture for an icon on bmp with 32x32 and converted it into a *.ico with IrfanView (if anybody knows that program, its a slideshow and graphic program, but irrelevant).
However, if I apply the icon on my executable it becomes rescaled and distortingly pixeled. Which size does an icon normally have to have to actually look good?

Thnx.

P.S. lol, that signature is funny. Is that a game?

Edit: Oh, icons are easy made. Just draw them on bitmap or whatever graphic tool you prefer to use and convert them to *.ico with Irfanview. You can download the newest version from TwoCows:

Er, how about acquiring some punctuation. It makes you coherent, you know...

I have never been able to cope with the 3d stuff on DBPro-coding, but 2d's all right. You can make quite good games there too, without worrying that much about 3dmaths, bugs, 3d-modellers, landscapes, collisions, etc. You just start to draw the animations, post them as sprites on the screen and use some if-endif commands around them to interact.

Edit: Erm, the Install Creator is quite handy, but it did not solve my problem as such...
