To those who celebrate it this weekend--- hopefully you get to get turkey stuffed (and enjoy the afterward turkey coma ) I'm headed for three days and nights of feasting. Anyone else planning anything for this long weekend?

In the United States, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November but in Canada, it's celebrated on the second Monday in October.

Isnt thanks giving the thing about the Americans, killing all the native Americans for the land? Or is it for sharing food with them?

How Silly! Its about the Americans sitting down to a meal declaring peace with the natives, and then killing them.

Kidding aside, I had no idea Canada celebrated thanksgiving. You learn something everyday, I suppose.

Wait til you hear about Boxing Day. (HINT: Leave your gloves at home, unless you received them for Christmas, and want to return them.)

Happy Thanksgiving, Jeku!

That's because Canada was conquered quicker than US.

Us Americans are far more lazy than Canadians, all the way back to our ancestors. You guys were about 10x faster at colonizing than us, and we just sat around in 13 mediocre colonies for about 100 years

yeah, in the US the day after thanksgiving is called "black friday" because supposedly the massive sales the shops make move their revenue numbers into the positive (I.E. black, instead of red for loss of moneyz)
