With the bsp compiler, make sure you only have solid objects otherwise it doesnt work at all

bsp is not really supported much in DBPro anymore, most people are using .x files now. Hunt out sparkys free collision dll - it does sliding collision between your player and the level, or for better control but Nuclearglory collision.

@dark donkey - May be a good idea to shrink your huge signature image. See here for accepted size: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=40589&b=2 - also you spelt darkdonkey wrong (2 k's) and 'still not quit a donkey' makes no sense.

Sliding collision means that when you walk up to a wall at an angle, you 'slide' along it rather than stop dead - it's normal practice for any 3D game.

Sliding collision works on the surface normal, so you can slide in any direction. Obviously, you have to add constraints such as gravity.

And no, it's not a plugin. There is a sliding collision demo in the examples that come wth DB Pro.
