I've uploaded a preview video of my upcoming Medieval/Fantasy Pack for FPSC. This first video show a castle in the evening, created with the Pack.

The pack will contain segments to create castles, wood fortresses and towns, complete with doors, ceilings, floors, gates, roofs, gantries and windows. Also the pack will have a number of essential items, like benches, tables, market place, weaponstands, wall shields, torches and much more.

All you see in the demo is part of the pack, except for the landscape, those are from my landscape pack and the torch flames, those are form the FPSC Sprite Pack.

More videos will follow. Have fun watching it at youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUwl8KPdp6Y

Btw.... you all may notice the absence of characters. If someone who can create (fantasy/medieval) characters wants to work with me on this project, please do let me know.

NEW VIDEO ADDED!

I've just uploaded the second demo video of my upcoming Medieval/Fantasy Pack for FPSC. This pack shows the town and the chapel, make sure you watch the complete video in order not to miss the chapel! I've added no lights to the town, just plain old daylight, so you get a look at what some of the items looks like in bright daylight.

At first you'll see the pallisade around the town. the first house is the blacksmith, second house a regular house and the third house is the town-hall. Then you'll take a stroll on the pallisade and lastly a part taken inside the chapel.

The pack contains more many more items, not shown on this or the previous video, so more videos will follow next week.

All you see in the demo is part of the pack, except for the ground segments, those are from myt landscape pack and the candle flames and window light effects in the chapel, those are form the FPSC Sprite Pack.

Nice looking vid!

I liked the music too, sounded very John Williams-ish at times.

Thanks This is just a small part of the collection, I've got much more done, so more vids will follow.

As for the music, I love it too, but the license doesn't allow it to be used in games. I've tried to get a license for it to use in my latest project, but the pricing range was beyond my reach.

All I need now is some characters, but my tries failed miserably, so I'm open to suggestions or people who would like to join in and help with the characters in medieval/fantasy style.

When will you think this will be done and do you have a cost estimate for it yet?
I would like to buy the pack, even without the NPC in the pack.

I would also be interested in buying the pack, but if it doesn't have characters, or anything animated, it won't sell for TOO much.

Check out the official model pack 3.... no characters, nothing animated, still selling for same price.

Don't worry, mine will not be as expensive as that one (unless it will become an official TGC FPSC model pack), but I have not decided on the final price yet. I'm guessing it will be slightly more expensive then my landscape packs, since this pack has many more items in it. Also there is one animated creature in the pack, it will be in the second video I'm going to show.

By now, I've got over 90 segments (walls, doors, windows, roofs and so on) and over 50 static entities.

The pack will be released with or without characters. If none of the modelers is interested in doing a few characters for the pack, then I'll release it without them. But the pack would look much better with some characters, I'm thinking of a knight, soldier, male & female peasant, male & female noble and a few creatures, like a giant spider and a giant scorpion. Those would really make the medieval/fantasy pack complete.

If you're interested and able to do these, please contact me!

Check the top, I've added a new video.

The pack is progressing well, the only thing still I do want to add is a kind of bakery and then I'm done with creating. After that I'm going to re-organize the files and make library thumbs for all of it.

Here's the last video of the pack. All that I need to now is make thumbnails and then the pack will be ready. There will be no characters in the pack, since I couldn't find anyone to help me with it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWXDGdtOVHk

The characters shown in this video are NOT a part of the pack. They were donated for a game I'm working on, but the author doesn't allow reselling or giving them away, which I do respect. I've added parts (weapons/helmets) to the characters and retuextured some of them, but that will all be for my own use, sorry.

The Spider seen in the game has been created by me and will be available at some time, but not part of the pack, seperately. Not sure how yet.

Have fun watching the video and if all goes as planned the pack will be released next week or the week after.

I'm finishing up the final details of the pack, so it's not going to take much longer until the release.

The 3rd one looks pretty good.. Something You maybe courld do better is to let the enemys (The big bugs.) come a bit closer until You can kill them with Your melee weapon.. And they shourld be closer until they can hurt You as well.. At that range You wourld have probs to reach them, and the fight looks a bit strange. But You shourldnt have any problems to fix this though. Just a few seconds of scripting and it will look great!

No problem, you can pay in dollars with Paypal, it does the conversion for you. It's about $7,50 for the pack.

You can get all details here, http://www.gamefun4u.nl/page17.html

There are more people working on complementary packs, so we may well see all of that.
