Im not sure if anyone has heard about it but North Korea will declare war on the US if the "embargo" or sanction is called by the UN.

+Japan announced sanctions

My opinion (dont look if you want to start a major argument, yes that means you...)

However enough of my rambling, there is probly nothing wrong and Bush and other leaders may be able to deal with the problem.

(If I broke any rules im sorry...it must be one I skipped..)

Meh, I will serve if the US wills me. You war opposers can go on opposing, but I will serve for my country against North Korea. Not Iraq or Afghanistan (empty wars for me), but I already disliked NK, because my Grandfather died in Korea. Never met him..=(

My grandfather was in WWII and his plane crashed on a island somewhere near the phillipines. Fortunatly he was able to come home but he died before I was 5..anyway

Im just saying that
History repeats itself and people make the same stupid actions. All one has to do is look for the patterns.

North Korea threatens war every other year just to keep the rest of the world on their toes. I'm not saying they shouldn't be considered a serious threat with the world's fifth largest military, but these threats aren't exactly new. Nor did they precisely say they would declare war if sanctions were issued - they said they would consider them an act of war, again, not really new rhetoric from them.

Sorry but I'm going to lock this thread. There are other more suitable places to discuss events like this, and no matter how you look at it this is about nothing but politics, which we do not allow as a topic of discussion on this forum.

At least you kept it relatively flame-bait free though, so congrats for that, and there is nothing wrong with your post other than the subject matter, so thanks for respecting the AUP on those grounds at least. But if you want a current events / politics forum, there are a gazillion of them out there, this isn't the place though I'm afraid.
