start programs accessories > entertainment > volume control > options > properties > recording button > OK > "What U Hear"

if you don't have "What U Hear" try something like Stereo Mix...depends on your soundcard

If you're not worried about it being less then perfect quality, then I'd say use something like an mp3 player in the background to record what you're saying and what's coming out of your speakers?

your going to need some sort of echo cancellation in some setups eg close up

you should be able to record it now with built in windows xp
look for sound recorder under accessories or something.

sounds like your going to need two microphones
plug one into your modem for skype and the other into the sound card to record.

audacity might do it
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

an external recorder outside of your computer is what is mentioned above.

Put your mic close to your speakers? If it has enough pickup, it will catch your voice too.

I don't really understand what you are tring to do, byt it sounds like you are tring to record sound coming out of your speakers?!

You can't do that, you have to have 2 seperate audio cards or devices, otherwise you'll get feedback in your recording...

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it's larger than 600x120...

you can do it but you need echo cancellation like suggested way at the top if external.
try winamp to record all the internal sounds.

its simple, have the speakers play loud enough for the mic to pick it up, it will record pretty much the same as if the others were in the room, save for feedback and the dodgey voice distortion of low grade comms technology.

yes but usually requires a sound card with multiple inputs and recording software that makes use of the available hardware.

something like one of the M-Audio cards and SONAR HomeStudio XL would be one example.
