In The Game Creators Newsletter - Issue 45 the product DarkSHADER was announced. It will create .fx shader files. Can I use these shaders in FPSC?

i think so

often .fx shaders from DB(P) are compatible with FPSC, but there are some which aren't

a little conversion will make them work if they do not

not possible. only shader which are pre defined in the FPSC sourcecode are working correctly. otherwise your entities are somehow lightened up or missing at all.

yeah...thats the ticket !

Yes possible. Hasn't nighthawk used new shaders before? And as long as FPSC loads them and they are compatible with DBP (which many are, and the DarkShader system defiently) then they will work unless you have some weird model skins or something. However some of the shaders in FPSC have issues with the newer versions
