Yea yea I know there isn't a downgrade yet, I'm not posting about that in particular . What I AM posting about is a warning to NOT download the latest PSP Firmware if you have even considered playing homebrew games as 2.81 makes it impossible to do so . They are working on cracking that (like they have all the others) but things looks a little bit more slim than they did last time.

On that note, does anyone know the progress on that? I've been looking all day but the most I can get is "They're working on it." Who is 'they' anyway lol?

But anyway, just a friendly warning from the wise

Yea no kidding. I posted that on the Sony PSP forums today and I got flamed for it. I just visited there and it looks like my thread was completely removed! I guess it's a Sony cover up.

Sony fails.

If you posted exactly what you posted here then I'm not surprised your thread was removed. Tampering with firmware is illegal.

Another reason I'm rooting for Microsoft. I don't see the point in choking out homebrew games, it's not like they'll lose money if free games are made, it would be the same as no games at all. I also think that allowing people to make games creates a more skilled future work force in the future. Good for Microsoft.

The reason I learned to program was because of Microsoft. GWBasic and Qbasic taught me a lot.

Come see the WIP!
