Yes, I got my new Dell XPS M1210 laptop and it is GREAT! My specs are:

Intel Centrino Duo 2Ghz Processors
2GB DDR2 Ram
100GB HD
256MB Geforce Go 7400 Graphics Card
DVDRW
Built-in Webcam/mic

All in a 12.1" widescreen package and weighing in at about 2Kg.

Runs all my games great - Downloaded a few new demos to test it out too - Battlefield 2 can run on max res and on max graphics, though it's a tiny bit choppy - probably at about 25fps - i tend to run it at medium to max settings and max res and it runs perfectly. Fear plays great too on high settings and max res.

Looks nice too - the keyboard possibly feels slightly plasticy, but I'm getting used to it.

Plus I managed to get it (new) for nearly half the price dell.co.uk quotes, off a dell reseller

If anyone's looking for a very portable gaming laptop, I highly recommend this one

Dude! I just got the exact same one! Except I think my graphics card is the nvidia 7600 (im pretty sure i read that) Yeah it's a real nice computer That picture really isn't very flattering of it however. When the blue lights are on in the front it looks awesome. How much did you get it for?

I'ma guess... 1200? (As I got mine for 2400, and you said you got half price)

ah, nice laptop, I still like my desktop better though.

3.2 Ghz PD
2 Gb DDR2 RAM
250 Gb 7200 RPM Hard Drive
74 Gb 10000 RPM Hard Drive
and best of all:

an ASUS GeForce 7950 GX2 GPU

it cost about $2000 after shipping (i didn't pay tax)

I've heard bad things about Dell laptops. Mostly issues involving the replacement of the mobo.

@The Dude:

Yeah I find the laptop looks better closed - love the black exterior and the xps and dell logo's. With the lights on at the front it looks very cool too.

If you customise the m1210 on dell.co.uk to my specs, it comes to about £1800, I brought the laptop for £995 (Including P+P and a nice Dell carry case worth £45 again)

Ah, euros Don't know anything about 'em. But regardless of my American ignorance, 995 (pounds, is it?) sounds like a pretty sweet deal. Well done.

Yeah £1 is roughly equal to $2.

I got it from a dell reseller advertising on ebay - But I made him an offer 'off ebay' to cut out ebay fees The laptop is new (Not refurished/return/cancelled order). There's quite a few going on ebay actually.

I ordered mine off the dell website

Oh, and beware. Today in C++ class my laptop was in my backpack and started getting really hot. See, it usually goes into hibernation mode when I close it but this time it didnt. It was insanely hot I could barely hold it. Anyway just be careful it's weird. A laptop has never done that to me bofore....
