I was just wondering if there was a way to read a line out of a file instead of a forced string/float/byte/etc... so I can get the value say on line 4 or line 5 (I'm rebelling making a parser between 2 languages)

Purebasic which is a lil faster than C++ (supposidly) and works with asm to DarkBasic... O_O I did it a very clever way... o_O I was thinking about just using the clipboard but what if someone copied and pasted something?

for your question..... it is because....when you read..byte,bits...
its because ..it is not necessarly text..then......
but ... for text..to ..read a full line..just read ..byte per byte..and when its 10 and 13...it mean a new line...hmm or something like that..just check a ASCII chart...you will se..one to change line..and 1 to return the corsor ..to the first caractere..
