Predictions?

I have a feeling for a Chelsea win.

2-0 even.

Having said this, they will probably get thumped.

They are, after all, going up against the best attack in the world with Hilario maning the gloves

Mine you even Petr Cech can't save you when Ronaldinho's on form/your captain decides to head it into his own frickin net.

Perhaps a safer prediction is 315 dives, 3 red cards.

Chelsea easy, 2-0 or maybe even 3-0. If Barca even parks it close to the box I'll do #2 on the spot

*Points and laughs* Your predictions were a mockery! (Mine would've been too).

Looks like Ronaldinho has almost returned to form though.

Those were for the last leg, which Chelsea won 1-0.

Looks like Lampard, Gerrard and Rooney are also back to their best.

Great - Where were you in Germany???

They were almost there, it's just Sven's motivational speech consisted of giving them flowers and telling them to take it easy and not try too hard. I can't believe how long we held onto that dead weight.

Either that or it's just humanely impossible for England to beat Portugal , as it is impossible for Portugal to beat France.

At the end of the day, it's all paper, rock, scisors really.

hehe. Painfully true ..... except for the first time we ever played you guys, when we smashed you 10-0 in your home city!

Some would say we peaked too early! I think you've been having revenge ever sinse.

Edit: haha. I found a link to info about that match. http://in.rediff.com/sports/2004/jun/23match.htm

ehehe... not just that time: also in 66, in the World Cup semi-finals England beat Portugal 2-1 and went on to with the Cup as all of you know - Bobby Charlton was the better man versus Eusebio on that occasion.

Tonights predictions?

No hiding now...

Man U and Arsenal both win 2 - 0, Celtic draw 1 - 1.

Benfica have been fairly inconsistent this year... I wouldn't be suprised if goal difference on Celtic vs Benfica was over 2, going either way... I'll risk suggesting 3-1 or 1-3.

Holy crap did anyone else watch Arsenal?

Most ridiculous game I've ever seen. Literally should have been 8-0.

And, see, I wasn't wrong about goal difference in Benfica vs Celtic.

I just wish Sporting Lisbon, which I support, would have done as well as Benfica and FC Porto did today: yesterday we tied 0-0 with Bayern Munich (of course Bayern is a lot better than Celtic or Hamburg, but still...)

The best way to predict a football match is wait till the result, type it into this here box, and then say the post has been bouncing between two routers for 90 minutes and you actually typed it before the match started.

Not sure it's the best way.

It's a way no doubt.

Forgetting that is like forgetting to wash your underwear for a whole year. Completely unacceptable.
