Providing I have the animations and whatnot, is there already a made script of melee? Or do I have to go script diving to 'attempt' to figure it out myself?

yep melee is possible. Download the "keenblade" (search models and media), that's a melee sword, you can modify the gunspec for that.

I hope you don't get flamed, because you asked nicely, but in future, it might be an idea to search first... although melee hasn't been mentioned around the models and media forum for a bit, it has already been pretty comprehensively covered.

I have made a pole and others haved made alternate textures for it.
I have also made a light saber.
There is the Keenblade (which has been mentioned) as well as a variety of other swords.
If you want weapons your best bet is to look in the models and media forum.
There are a couple of melee scripts you can give an enemy character and some of the custom scripts include melee attacks.
Don't e above script diving.
That is your best way to find info in this board.
Search for what you need.
