im having a bit of trouble with waypoints, ok first what script is used to have them follow the wy point and where dose it go? in the main part? sometimes it works and other times it dosnt so im not suire what im doing wrong(sorry i know nothing about scripts and where they go) and second i want it to like walk up and down a hall way but when i do it it walks to the end of the hall and stops and last thing sometime the wrong person goes to the way points like in my first room i have 3 people, 1 walk the others just standing but sometimes the standing ones run to the way point and sit there, how do i stop them? thanks. and i did read the maual and didnt see anything about this unless i missed something.

try searching the word

"waypoints"

in this board (scripts) and in models and media. The anwers you require are already out there.

ok just searched em all and it answed my 1 question but not the one thats when i set a way point for 1 person the people arround it go to it to when i dont want them to and i dont know how to stop them, i saw this question asked in one of the posts i found but it wasnt answered.

You must be using a AI MAIN script that calls waypoints if they are going to it.
Look in the SCRIPTBANK\PEOPLE folder, and find a FPI that doesn't have any waypoint actions in it.
Change those characters' AI MAINs to proper FPIs, and they shouldn't go to the waypoint anymore.
