Hey guys,
How do you get windows to reformate your computer?

People think DarkBASIC is for noobs and isnt professional, but i think its the future of game programming. Do you agree with me? Just reply to this thread saying you do.

oh dear.

find your original windows disk.
insert into cdrom/dvd
restart the computer
press f10 or whatever key it takes to get into your bios.
look for boot order, change the boot order so the CDROm/DVD is first.
restart again

windows cdrom will boot and follow the prompts to reinstall.

doesnt sound like you got rid of that problem, this however is a knee-jerk reaction to format since it could be removed without hours of re setting up.

I just accualy partitioned it so it on a secperate space as the virus then im going to move the files i need (but scan them first) over to the new partitioned space then delete the remaning stuff. Im on that computer right now as a matter of fact

if you have two partions on the one disk windows might kill all the data on that disk.

back up first before anything.

Windows doesn't just kill partitions, but rather doesn't recognize many different types.

Well i just deleted the old partition before i installed the new one so im ok now Thanks Guys
