Here is a link to my water decals.
http://www.maidensmusic.com/spencerpage/water.exe
Extract the zip somewhere, then
The FPE files go in:
etitybank\generic\decals
The two folders "water" and "water2" go in
gamecore\decals

Here is a screenie

To use it, force entities to center by pressing 'B' twice. Use'PageUp' to raise the decal and paste it all over wherever you want.

Actually this is one of the best looking waters I've seen. NIce work man.....really. Also there's no licensing stated here or in the zip. You may want to do that. But again nice work.

What do ya mean licensing? This is totally free, I'm simply sharing my experiments with you guys.

I will work on an installer.

rabit, since so many people around here steal man, we try to at least express the licening in the thread if not in a notepad contained in zip it self. It's a nice contribution, but say for the sake of the nvidia compo theres a point we have to show licencing or how we made something to dispute a claim of using copyrighted material. It's just a great habit to get into. Even if some of these new guys can't get why your not allowed to post things from other sites, I'd hope someone that makes as decent of media as yourself understands the concerns.

Good luck

Thanks, Locrian. I didn't think of it that way.

OK. The problem was thst there are two folder and each have a decal.dds, so when the zip was extracted, one overwrit the other. Now I fixed, so it extractes into seperate folders. And I've included a license.
