well last i read, a vast majority of jews in america were against zionism, and against americas support for israel in the middle east, and i've also come across wesbites such as
www.jewsagainstzionism.com - which actually preaches against zionism, one of the reasons being that it's causing anti-semitism.
also one of my favourite singers is warren zevon. he happens to be a jew that campaigns against zionism (and i liked his songs before i was too young to even know what they were about, thought i'd tell you that bit before you come to any conclusion about me only liking him for being antizionist).
therefore i have come to the conclusion that being antizionist isnt being antijewish, to me they're 2 totally different concepts. judaism is the blief in God and the old testament, zionism is the belief that jews should have their own land in the palestine.
that would be saying
"I hate terrorism, therefore I hate muslims" because people associate terrorism as a part of islam- in the same way people accosiate zionism with judaism- when its simply an invalid statement.
and in the same way, the terrorist acts being committed in islams name only account for a small proportion of muslims, and a vast majority of muslims are against terrorism, just like a majority of jews being against zionism.
edit: you see, not all of us are shallow enough to only see things on the surface and then make inapropriate comments, its far more constructive to talk seriously. do you think this post would have been at all constructive if i was making jokes, saying "f-ing jew this and that?" no i'd have been flamed and banned. hopefully now you see my point about uncyclopea. i guess even in the 21st century, after things like 9/11, the world still hasn't learnt about respecting each other.
