Newcomers DBPro Corner / Instancing DBC

Can you instance objects in DBC? I have read other posts about how to do it in DBP. I would like to instance 100's of enemy objects in DBC, I looked through the commands and didnt find anything, would I have to uprgrade to DBP in order to do this?

Instancing is an object-oriented concept, neither version of DB is object oriented.

You can create multiple enemies, administrating them using types and arrays, but it's not instancing.

I think he means instancing 3d object and DBP can do that. You load one object and you make "copies" of it. The copies share most of the data of the original one (mesh, texture, ...)
I don't know if DBC can do that, I don't think so.

The sleeper must awaken !

yes and instancing dosent work with objects neading to be separately animated or textured as they share this data with the master object as it says in the help file great for trees and grass .

INSTANCE OBJECT shares most data, other than position and rotation.
CLONE OBJECT makes a separate, stand-alone copy of an already loaded object.

You cannot instance or clone an object in DBC with a simple command.
