If the FPSC webmasters perfer not to have free advertising then THEY can recommened that I remove it from my site, but considering that I have had this new site up for only 5 days and I am already getting an average of 760 new hits per day from non fpsc oriented people and the fact that on an average, using the 10-3-1-rule that states for every 10 people that visit a site, 3 will find it interesting and 1 will purchase or signup meaning that they would miss on an average, 7.6 new customers per week (this would only apply to people that are interested in game development)I do not tink they would mind, if so then I will have no problem removing the I-frame from my site.

@ the inovator : I agree it is free advertising, i think it would be better to ask them first if you can do it.

The site is looking good.

and apparently you are having enough issues trying to keep your site up and running since axifer.com doesnt seem to be around anymore, so I would reccomened that you focus more on your issues instead of making smart remarks about somthing you mis interpreted.
no harm intended so do not take it personally.

Dude Inovator I like you thats why I am going to give a little advice here on why you shouldnt do this. Well don't do things like this until you get permission. Yes I understand your trying to help but from the Author of the other website could see it differently then how your seeing it considering that it is his work and the iframe your using is considered hotlinking and the Author of FPSC could utilize the DMCA law and have you completely shut down then file suites against you for service interuption and so on.

Think about it this way we dont like people here who use models that are not theres then claim the work... And we don't let people post other peoples work here in hopes to get that work continued its kinda the same thing if you step back and think about it.

I know your telling people this is there site and not yours But the whole look is kinda deceptive... Just remember an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.... So if it was me I would not iframe it and just turn your button into a link that opens a new page from your site that way your avoiding the whole situation...

I havent seen anybody on the net as far as designers who will complain about a direct link to there site...

But the site looks really good I give you a big thumbs up on the design work. I would just hate to see anything nasty come from good work thats why I felt I should put my 2 cents in.

Have you downloaded your CLiPs today.

I'd suggest you take down the page. It's too misleading for new users because they may think that you created FPSC, or are somehow involved with its development. If you wish to show your support for FPSC, please just link to the FPSC homepage instead of embedding it in a tacky frame. Thank you.

I am not overly worried about what has happened here for the following reasons:

1) This isn't a MIRROR of our site at all. It's just an iframe, so the content is pulled in from our server and not modified in any way.

2) No advertising appears to have been added to the frame anywhere.

3) The large scrolling message at the top makes it clear they didn't create the site, they just embedded it.

Had any of the above points not been in place, we would have requested it be removed, but as it stands we don't mind too much. If you go and slap a load of adverts on it however, we will take action, so please don't

Thank you Richard D. and I have no intention of adding any ads to that specific page. The purpose of this is added ease of transition from one site to the other, nothing more.
Thanks again Richard.

Yo Inovator. Lookin Good!, Off topic for a minute, is your chat program still supported? No one is ever there. Did you just not get enough people, or what?

@Rabid rabbit - I have shut down the old chat system due the fact that I dont have time to maintain it the way it needs to be maintained. But I still have a live chat on the new site. And in the future I may reopen the old one.

It's not very bandwidth friendly.
I guess you need broadband to view.
I gave up on it after like 5 minutes when all I saw was a blue screen and a java cup still working.
My dial up sucks so...

Actually I have tried to make the site universal for most connection types and you should have little or no wait time with a 56k dialup modem.

Unless you are deep in a bunker and the old phone line won't carry over a 14.4 connection.

I usually connect at 12 kbs. (14.4 is a good day)

Edit
I was kidding about the bunker, but not about the phone line.
Bad thing is, no DSL or Cable is offered here where I am at.
The only broadband is via satellite at a cost of $60 to $100 per month.
Too fancy for me.
