Well, here is a working version of my character creation screen/program, made with DBP. There are a few minor things missing, like name$ and back/next page buttons. And the +/- for stat adjustments roll too fast, which will be fixed with a flag requiring release of the mouse.

I would greatly appreciate any critiques on this program. If you can break it, cheat on it, or otherwise have any suggestions, please let me know.

I am happy to share the code, if you want it let me know.

The DL with .exe and media is about 2.3 megs.

You can make a timer that doesn't allow the stat to increase until the time is up.

That's a good idea to allow the rolling if the mouse isn't released. I already added:



which will flag the mouselick()=1 to allow another increment/decrement, with what you've mentioned the player could hold the button or click up and down!
