I didn't say program files... Milkshape can open various file formats and then you can export them as .x. Click the link and you will see...

When I say list of what can be converted to .x file, I meen it in it's regular form. Not the game it was used in. Example, is there some way to convert a .TGA to a .X? Or vice versa...

Search for converters on google or whatever search engine you use.
Quite a few converters will make your file an .x file.

I don't understand... why would you want to convert a picture file to the x file format... I wouldn't even think it was possible...

I thought you were trying to convert something like a .3ds to .x file... sorry

Yeah. That was an example, I already know the answer to that. But I'm trying to get one of my google sketchup models into FPSC I already know what ALOT of you are going to say... But I started at skp and randomly converted now I have the option of converting to TGA or BMP or WMV and so on. I want to get it to .x. could someone tell me (give me a link to someone who can tell me) what/where is a list stretched out as far as it needs to go, to get from .skp to .x.

I already know someone did, anyway, I got it into 3DS format. Is there some sort of converter that will take it to .X?

animator can change .an8 files to .3ds .obj .vtx and .c source file.
if you want the file to be fps ready, import it into anim8tor, export it as a .3ds and use the DBCONV program (there should be a link somewhere here if you search) when the .3ds file is in the same folder as it and then you can change it into a .x file. When that's all done you use the Entity Maker to create and .fpe file and you're done <whew>
