Hi all,
I was wondering that if you model a weapon do the Ammo magazines and the bolt/cock of the weapon have to be seperate objects?

Help would be appreciated. Thnx

Anything to be moved or animated needs to be it's own seperate mesh/object.

Yes.
If you want something to move it has to be a separate object.
Moving to the models and media forum.

you can animate the gun entirely with bones, its just ridiculously (hope i spelt that right ) hard, i tried once, took me a whole day just to get the hammer and trigger working, and it still pulled half the gun with it.
