Here's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to read my small comic called The Noobs. It took all of 10 minutes, and could, if you use a bit of imagination, it could be regarded as a prelude to The Monday Announcment.

Anyhoo, enjoy...

Oh dear - using my sisters account. And I didn't have time to spell check it either.

you might want to present them as gifs or pngs.
jpeg might ruin the crisp lines and with gif you could set the colours to 2,4,8,16etc if you wanted
test a gif in size with limited colours and a png without alpha mapping.
if they are flash present them as a slide show in a flash module and lock it if your worried about low level theft etc.

I dont think they will sell if there is no characters to get an affinity with.
perhaps your writing the gags first then adding the characters later.

matt groening (simpsons creator) has a strip called life in hell where the characters are the same in every cell, to a minimalism.

He means why are there only text balloons and no characters. Show us how you can draw by posting a character... and use .png or .jpg.

I think some of the jokes work quite well without characters. The 'holding the brain' one in the second death strip is a good example imo.

It would appear I've been bitten by the coding bug yet again...

No characters to draw!

Not yet. Interesting - Safari has no problems with TIFF's in the first post, but IE 7 does...
