Hi everyone i am totally new to this i was wondering if someone could tell me what commands you type to get dbpro to read out aloud a sentence

If there isn't a command like speak/say/talk etc has anyone made a subroutine which i can add to my program which allows speech.

I am totally thick so if someone could reply with an example/format on what to type in i would appreciate it HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE

Belive it or not I think MrToad has a plug-in for this.
The general rule of DBP is if it doesn't do it, MrToad has a plug-in for it. lol

not sure if there is a command to do it but you could always store the sound(not sure the command or what type of music files db supports) and store it in a variable(like if it says hi make the variable hi$ then you would just have to type all the variables out some how like--
playmusic(not sure of command)
hi$
??? or something i dont know im still a newbie to db

Hey, on your the DLL page of your website. For the FuncMap (which looks useful). There is no instructions. It says
The instructions are here. With no link....and I'm not exactly the greatest at C.

I've got a example program for my FunctionMapper DLL - no instructions yet though... Have a look and see if you can understand it. If I remember correctly it may also use my string plug-in.
