Do you mean cutscenes or like a trailer for your game?

There are several ways to make cut-scenes and trailers. it all depends on how much time and or money you want to spend. You can always use Frapps to record the footage but instead of recording use the snap picture function have it go off every 1 second. this will create a nice picture show that will not be to jerky. youc an then edit frame by frame. then take the photos load it in to any dvd editor (or comprable program) and create the video. Depending on the settings and the program you use the size of the file will vary. Any time you add videos to a game it hikes the file size so I guess the question you have to ask yourself is "How much am I willing to sacrifice?" I would not worry to much because you can always compress videos.

Method #1

Create the same level in MP and then have or pay your friends to act out the scene. then go in to an audio editor (cool edit, acid pro, cakewalk, sound forge) and add the audio tracks.

method #2 <---the hardest/time consuming one.

Model and animate every inch of the scene.
