hi

I just recently found the hidden flight sim game in microsoft Excel and wanted to know a couple of things.

1. what do you do in it other than fly around?
2. Are there any other games that any of the ms office programs contain?

If you would like to see the game here is how to find it.

1. open excel and make sure yu have you cells with Letters on the horizontal header and numbers on the vertical hearders.

2. press f5 and in the reference box type x97:l97 and press enter.

3. press tab once

4. hold down ctrl and shift and then click on the graph button at the top

to control the game you just have to use the mouse (right click goes back left click goes forward)

Cheers

This will only work in Excel 97. The egg was removed from all latter releases, although 2000 contains a car 'game' with credits (can't remember the commands to do it - google it)

I'm also under the impression that 2003 is completely devoid of easter eggs

No they should as it wastes time, money, effort, disk space and computer memory. Plus it would need to be debugged (losing more time). Personally dislike any easter eggs in any software, beyond, perhaps, a simple window giving the engineer credits.

Visit my web site for real bangin' stuff. Word.
