OK,i made some banners to show to iGd,but now i want the comments of all of you,and if people want me to,ill make a banner.(Requirements at the bottem of the post)

Banner 1NOTE:not made for any game,only for preview purposes)



Banner 2NOTE:Made for a game i might start about a few hippies who want to save the world with a flower gun)



I hope i get quite nices rates.(Please submit your +points and -points.and rate it with numbers.it could help me!)

Yeah..... Uhhh I have no recollection of colaborating with Higgins on Soul Reaper... And who is this ordering a banner for a game thats not in productions yet without asking me first?

Andyes your banners do look like their made in MS Paint. I like the re-work but I'm really lost...

I personally think that you shoudl practice offline before trying to make banners for people. Quality is of the utmost importance.

@Urlforce sudios and higgins : I do not know what going on with the banner deal but my banner was only an example for Prince Of Darkness and was not intended to be used as a banner.

I absolutely hate them, the first one looks MS paint style, as well as the "grim reaper" one or w/e... honestly spend more time then using a spray paint tool in MS paint...

I am going to agree with Bloodeath 6 6 6, most of the banners I have been seeing here between this thread and the other one are subpar standard. it's not that hard to create a good banner in just a few minutes. Here are two that I have done (yes, I have shown these elsewhere in the forums)They only took a few mintues to complete and yes they use the same font.





really simple banners made in photoshop. I think I may create some tutorials on how to create banners.
One of the things that people should remember when creating game banners is that you have to create the banner with the cover in mind. so inless you are just creating a abnner for web purposes you shoudl try to create a page 8x10 as opposed to 766x195 pixel banners.

however i like Banners that are simple and have pictures,instead most people only make them with text and a background.

Random effects doesn't make a good banner. It's more of a mess than a banner. A banner needs to be esthetic and tell the person looking at it what the banner's advertising for.
