i was playing the equilibrem(sp?) world demo and it was going REALLY slow was that my computer or the game?(because it had a big matrix?)

well it is big but even so the game goes at a decent pace for my computer is its a load of useless.

my computer has 186?MB of ram i think
8MB video card

There are people still using windows 95!!!

What is processor? I bet it's only 200 MHZ or something. 8MB on board graphics card is definately a no,no.

Suggestion: Pick up computer, put in bin, go to shop, buy a new one.

That doesn't sound good at all. It should tell you the speed when it boots. Being a compaq it might not.
