ok i am trying to learn the code to bind a key like if they press the key it wont do anything for ex: esc wont quit the game if you can help plz tell me how

the only way is by telling the escape key to do something other than exit the app. i wouls kind of also like to know this so i could press escape and have my menu come up

Current Status: small FPS project for a friend(if it looks good in the end may become a demo)
I consider myself: newb
