Nice one - congratulations to Paul and all involved!!

But:

DISCOUNT: If you purchased DarkBASIC Professional directly from us you receive a 10% discount
"

What? A discount for DBPro people but no discount for people who purchased the unmanaged DGDK??? Please, _please_, let this be mind slip!

GDK owners should be elligible for a discount at least equal to DBPro users, if not larger.

I have vague plans for World Domination

I guess we'll see. What you say does make sense.

Yes, an upgrade version would be quite nice. I've been interested in this for a long time, but that kind of price would be too much of a hit to my bank account.

I'm just gonna buy the freeware version. I think if you got to the stage where you were definately looking at a commercial release, TGC'd do an upgrade on the license and it would be worth it.

yes adr, I was thinking the same thing, buy the freeware version, use it, develop, etc - if you get to the point that you might sell a game the 140$ difference for the other license wont make a difference really

I do see a large market area for GUI based editors using the toolkit now. Sephnroth has already proved this with a stunning looking editor for his project.

I've posted a similar question over in the stickied thread on the GDK forum. Get this for strange though... I go to the purchase page, get ready to crack out the credit card, look in my wallet --

Gone! My card isn't there. Turns out I left it at the train station this morning!

I love where I live - it's so quaint sometimes.

I phoned the train station and the guy guessed it was me as soon as I said "hello" (I've left the card in the chip and pin machine before ). He knows I live nearby, so he looked up my phone number in the telephone book left a message on my home phone. He even offered to drop the card off at my house.

It's times like this I'm glad I live in the middle of nowhere, where people are nice

I'll buy it if WOLF is interested in porting his plugin. Is there an implementation of call dll, or is that one of the DBPro functions that have been ditched?

Adr, you've just proven that statement in the Matrix where the architect says something like "The 1st matrix was a paradise, but people wouldn't accept it and entire crops were lost" is complete bollocks. You clearly live in an unrealistically nice part of the world, and none of you lot are dropping dead!

A big oversight on the part of the wikiwokowakaoutiskiski brothers.

EZ Rotate? I see it's already updated, my guess is it will show up in your account details as an updated download.

Oh - well that's one thing to cross off my list, but I was talking about his upcoming animation plugin.
