I asked this question before but I couldnt bump the topic and cream pies program didnt work:

I need a Dark Basic routine that simply runs a loop and opens then saves a series of images called "snapshotXX.bmp" (Where XX is a series of numbers.)

The best woud be if it worked on all the files in a certain folder.

The problem is FPSC screen grab function doesnt seem to write .bmps that photoshop can read, but Dark basic can.

save them again in paint as a bmp or jpg and all should be fine.

I know I could change the files manualy it is a time consuming hassle.

All I really need is the syntax for 1. how to make the counter into the file name string. 2.open it. 3 save it as the same name.
