Have you ever wondered what the 3D shapes e.g. cube, sphere, cone, etc. are for in DB? Well, finally, I have found a use for them. Maybe other people have done this already but here's a tip for those who haven't. When planning to make a game, make a simple "bare bones" version of it first, using the "make object..." commands, to have those simple objects represent the real ones. Or do what I'm doing now: I decided to make a simple "find the object" game, where you control a cube to move around a matrix covered in boxes to find a sphere. The idea has now turned into a "find the treasure" game, which will have better graphics than the basic objects. Just laying them out like I have has given me a rough idea and (very) early playable demo. I'll post screenshots at another time (but in the WIP forum!)

I did that for my engine testing, I took it a step further by using spheres.
spheres have a few more polys and give you a better fell of polygon usage over your games system.
if i recall as well you can assign primitives to have a certain amount of polys with another flag at the end, effectively raising or lowering the poly count.
