I was wondering if this barebone system is compatible with this processor, these sticks of ram and this cd/dvd burner, and then would all of those make a complete vista ready system without the hard drive?

It should be "AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice 1.8GHz 512KB L2 Cache Socket 939 Processor" then " Patriot 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory" and " MadDog Black 16X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 16X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 5X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2M Cache IDE DVD Burner - OEM"

oh and the barebone should be "FREETECH Cobra G6100 AMD Socket 939 AMD Athlon 64/Sempron NVIDIA GeForce 6100 4x 184Pin GeForce 6100 Barebone - Retail"

1. Would those all go together to make a vista ready machine other than the hard drive?

2. What hard drives do you recommend that would fit this barebone?

I'm such a n00b (Dark Basic Pro Guy is my older bro btw!!!)

these sticks of ram are the right ones, and for some reason I cannot edit.

"SUPER TALENT 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model X32PB2GC - Retail" is the right name for the ram also.
