That would be like putting your Windows system folder in a Unix box and expecting it to run Windows.

The Quake2 engine does not understand FPSC. It's a totaly different language.

The forum provides a means to hide our true identity. Too bad we always screw up and let it be seen.

duh, i knew that, but theres gotta be a way to convert every thing, it can't be impossible, i have the engine itself, all i need is to put the data from the game into pak so that i can be read. anyone know where to get some sort of pakzip or something? lol i dunno.

if you take a look through a game made with the quake 2, ie half-life,
it comes with some dll files that run everything, then up the top in valve(resoures folder)- you get all the things that every game has like models, textures ect. see what i mean? open the wads and you get your average bitmap files, nothing complicated and no strict order but there may be some issues aquainting the engine with the pak with the stuff inside. issues wich of course are the scripts, but-

the creators of half-life, heritec 2 the game quake2 ect, managed to get this done amongsed many other things. mabye there is a way to do this easier, if all these other programs have been built for making quake 2 games mabye theres soemthing for this. or even ask someone to help.

Evan if you could convert everything (wich you can convert models and textures to Q2 engine), you can't use them.

Read the Terms of Use, or wtf they are called, you can only use FPSC media in FPSC, You can't use FPSC media on DB/DBp or any other program

My love is seperated in 2 parts, 1 of them is 3ds Max 7, the other; FPSC.

Don't take my post as rude ok dark?

I only highlited that, so when the next user uses search, they see it well.

Also, i posted that so in case you actually imported FPSC media to other engine, you wouldn't get into trouble.

Peace
