Hello,

I recall being able to use mask or mask$ with some other version of basic. Does DBP allow the use of text masks? That is, can you format something like: ###,###.## so that if x=12491.3, the displayed value will appear as: 012,491.30? It is similar to something Excell does, but some old Basic (GW Basic?) used to allow it.

I don't know any built in commands for text formatting, but
take a look at this function I wrote, it puts commas in numbers.
