he was moving his workstation downstairs and he slipped on the stairs...i guess someone spilled a drink, and boom, it went bye/bye. He showed me the peices, it was very sad.

So the moral of the story is, get an elevator instead of stairs.

And the moral of the story is don't buy it, Argos it...but how can you Argos something, the only way for that to make sense to me is to have Argos as a euphemism of to steal it, in that case, I will take good use of that advice.

When you take a computer downstairs, make sure the coast is clear of obstacles, slips etc. and come down with most care, although a computer isn't too heavy, its those CRT monitors are the beasts

So it is very simple now:

1)Get an elevator
2)a laptop
3)Clean the stairs before walking up?
4)Dont move your computer.

My arrival shocked some people maybe...but i dont seem to care anyway...behold my mights!

3)Clean the stairs before walking up?

Why? You have an elevator. Just more work...

And what if a small goblin is hiding under the carpet just waiting to trip you up? Really, sometimes I wonder what you'd do without me.

always walk down stairs backwards when carrying fragile loads. it means that if you drop the load, it:
1) has less distance to drop
2) wont roll down the stairs since you;re in the way

You guys are thinking deeper than you really need to. The solution has already been invented, look here:

Ask Josh if that's the same reason why Chris doesn't get on anymore.

Or you'll fall down the stairs backwards, quickly followed by whatever you're carrying, which'll land square in the middle of your face.

The moral of the story is life sucks than your computer is smashed into thousands of tiny pieces that make men cry. Really, if you even think of moving your comp, don't. By the way, that antigravity thing rocked! Too bad it probably would work with a computer tower and large non-flat monitor. Oh well, I can dream....
