How do i use stairs and connect them to other rooms?

1. welcome to the forums
2. read the manual located in your Docs folder wherever you installed fpsc.
3. use the search function at the bottom of the page to see if your question was already answered.

4. stairs are obviously used for connecting two floor together so, just have you bottom floor, place the staircase in the direction that you want, then go to the next floor by pressing the + key, and put in another floor, click on the paint segment walls only, and paint in your walls, there you go, i hope that helped.

stairs are in segments/platforms, you just place them somewhere and on the next floor make sure there isn't a floor on top of the stairs and it'll work

so what's the job?

Their just segments. Place one and go to the next layer and continue your level.
