A while back I posted my ketchup bottle.
Now here is a pic of the mustard bottle I made to go along with it.
The ketchup bottle is in the pic too.

Looks good, try working on the middle because a cone doesn't really fit onto a hexagon shape.

so what's the job?

I was getting tired of ketchup, thanks for the mustard.

Best.

The forum provides a means to hide our true identity. Too bad we always screw up and let it be seen.

*Swish*

Haha

Your models are pretty cool, good job. I know youve always said in other threads "You can always try and do your own texture" but I thought id give you some pointers about when you next do your texture.
I would recommend lowering the saturation level (Its kind of bright at the moment, and draws attention from the environment).
I would also maybe add some light noise, and maybe blur that noise a bit to give it a bit of a texture. Perhaps use your dodge tool to add some reflection shines. (I use photoshop, in case you dont understand some of the tools from using other software)

Smitho,
I'll look into that.
I understood most of what you said.

I would have made my own texture to your model, but you didnt post it Heres my example of how the less bright entities would match the surroundings. (Ive not put in game coz its just a quick example, but you should see how the desaturated colours would match better).

I also added little texture features such as reflections and also the little ridge thingys to help you grip the lid when you undo it

Hope you understand what I mean about the colours not matching. You put some great work out, and I really appreciate it, as does everyone else!

I think that looks sweet yeah. What are the thick black lines around it?
Notice how the colours are a bit more similar now?

I tried some of the stuff you suggested and played around with the texture.
I think this one gives it a realistic feel.
I'm not at the point in texturing where my textures are going to look like the one you posted.
It's going to take some practice and I am going to have to read some tutorials and stuff like that.
Thanks for the pointers.
I think the black lines came from when I used erosion on it.I was trying to add some "age" to the texture.
