Yes, they're both PCIE (mobo at PCIE x16 is fine). Though the mobo only supports DDR400, you may like to look for a better spec motherboard (with socket AM2?) if you haven't bought it yet!

I have an XP3000+, 1.5gb DDR333, a 6600GT and I'm programming 3k text-based exe's?!

So Iam looking for a better board and asrock have been good for me.

Have you heard about wireless cards not working well with the board I have?

That's a very specific 2-piece hardware compatibility problem which you'd do best to Google up on! I haven't heard about that one!

Wireless PCI cards/USB dongles are fairly cheap & certainly cheaper to replace than a motherboard. Have you considered a new USB dongle? Most importantly, is your computer in a good location for the signal?

Iam using the same pci card in my old pc, because its the only pc I own where the card works. If I put it in my new pc, it wont work.

The card is fine.
