Hi I'm trieng to get a goal of making a medivial game, 3d, and basicly a mix with runescape and sherwood. The things i can currently program are:

1. Geometric Shapes
2. Text
3. Repeating text
4. Hide mouse

Can anyone help? I need super simple. Well, this is anoying also but I don't know how to put in 2 objects at a time! Or the ground, fog (not needd), skills, nothin. Since I'm using the trial version i need awsners quick! Please help me, and don't just tell me to put in a code, I want to make my own code and call it my own. I'm looking right now at how to put in a tree. How to stack a cone on a cylinder. Please awsner! Lol, a tree might be simple, but I'm [modedit] young, so I can barely programe in a cone, so you'll have to go easy on me. Anyways please help me!

First off, dont double post. Since you just joined the forums you're on post approval, so it takes a while before the posts show up.

Second, and please dont skip over this with a "im different that everyone else" attitude; you're not going to make an mmorpg as your first project. Do a forum search for tutorial city, and complete as many of the tutorials given in that thread as you can.

Also, dont post your age, its against the AUP.

Sorry but nobody can make a MMORPG game before the Darkbasic trial is over. MMORPGs take years to make... how long is the trial 30 days?

Andrew Gower made the primitive game that Runescape was based on back in 1998. He didn't make Runescape Classic till 2001.

Gene Endrody started Sherwood as a test of a 3D avatar chat program also back in 2001.

Both of them took many years to get those initial programs to the way they are today... you're not going to learn Darkbasic and churn out a MMORPG in a month. Just slow down and make something easier for your first game.

Ok, I get it. How do I make a tree? I just learned how to put a sphere in a box and still be able to see the sphere lol.

don't even try a game at your current level just learn as many tut's as possible and you shouldn't ask for help me make a medievil game instead ask could people please point me to some tut's as i am very new especially don't ask Help me make a medivial game when you say i don't know how to put 2 objects on the screen just go look up tut's for now and later attempt when you know 30x mores
