I'd remodel everything but the barrel assembly, gas tube and magazine. The receiver area and triggerguard are pretty off. The rear sight also looks a bit like an antennae.

Here's some decent reference.

I really think you need to learn to animate! It's much more rewarding to bring your creations to life yourself than see someone else butcher your creative visions.

I think I need to really I dont know why, but Im just trying to avoid animating to be honest... But, i Guess i need to learn if im going to progress at all...
Hmm... The site I got my references must be off, because I even noticed how the recievcer (I think thats the name) looked like the MG34s. Also, yes... the antenna thing confused me too, but thats what was on my reference image

Maybe the site you used had a Bren MkI? I just noticed the one I linked was MkII...

Seriously... you'll dig it. Learning even some basic animating will help you to improve your modeling too. Mechanical objects are easy to learn with because they don't require skeletons, weighting, etc like a fleshy character would.

Have you possibly got any simple 3ds Max tutorials on modelling/animating by any chance Errant? Not nessecarily your own, but any sites that may point me in a good direction. You can sometimes even get gun modelling tuts since its so popular. HL2, CS:S, Halo etc...

It's mostly character related but I'll parrot what Jon usually reccomends:

poopinmymouth.com

Check the links section too because he has a load of fantastic artists linked. Some have tutorials of their own and they all have so much skill it makes me weep.

nice a bit simple and maybe too smooth in places, the stand looks like it could do with a bit of work

keep it up! looking forward to seeing a texture

also, can we see a wireframe?

This is a brill gun - no offense, but I thought the Bren's magazine was straight and on the side? That's what it looks like on COD - Finest Hour.

Smitho, I already told you I would help you animate but I never got your email. Could you send it?

[edit] I just realized the date, sorry. But still, could you send the email?

The truth is still unknown... or is it!

You're thinking about Sten. It has the magazine on the side.

Looks good. Maybe bit too smooth for FPSC.

Really good gun; make it FPSC ready please? If not I'll 'ave a go.

Good god... Why did you bump this?
I got rid of this model when i cleared up my PC, since i realised how unaccurate it was when I played COD2.
Dont bump old posts, please...

Phlum,
You seem to have issues with bumping old threads...again.
Please stop.
