Hi everyone,

I've always loved those daft little crazy golf games and thought it was about time to give it a go for myself.

Now, I haven't been working on this very long so its still very early in development but I thought I would post a quick demo of a test level to get your oppionion.

I wanted to make a better control system so I went along the route of 'Virtual Pool'. Click and hold the mouse, pull back and push forward. The quicker you push forward the harder you'll hit the ball.

Let me know what you think so far.

Oh and you can zoom in and out with the mouse wheel. You'll also need the AGEIA PhysX drivers to run in too.

Cheers

I can't run it because it's trying to set the screen greater than my maximum dimensions: 1024*768

It's really good dude. Just one thing... After the ball bounces around for awhile, it takes FOREVER to stop. I wasn't patient enough to get past the first level Fix that and this game'll be perfect

Thanks for the comments guys .

Chris: Good point. I'll be adding loads of features throughout.

UFO: Ah! Here download this exe and replace the one you have with it. This will run it at 1024*768 : http://client.nts-online.co.uk/golf1024.zip

Crazy: Thanks man! Yes, it does take forever and I will fix that one for sure.

Now I'm getting this :'-(

From the screens, it looks really really good. I am going to try this game on another computer with a decent monitor.

Gar. The same error message comes up on my other computer too. I used the original executable, to see if it was the new exe that was messed up. I have no idea what's wrong

Thats a shame. Are you using the latest Physx drivers? Also what graphics card are you using?

yes, I had to install physx to play it, since I don't usually use that computer for games. And the graphics card is the crappy Intel Graphics controller (something like that - I'll make sure I'm right next time I can use it)

Ah, it'll be the Intel graphics controller messing it up. You need shader model 2 to run it.

it'd probably be best to make the res changeable via an ini file because all my games HAVE to be ran at 800 x 600 for a decent Frame rate

Hi Chris, it will have full options eventually (via an ini file) its just so early on at the moment.

Hopefully in the next update i will have that in place.

Cheers.
