congratulations, now is the time to get a pad and pencil and start designing a layout for a game. btw you posted this in the classic area. tsk tsk mate, you should slow down on silly posts, i dont think your reading what people are saying to you.

Yes buy a book, or read tutorials, whichever works better for you. The darkbasic pro help files won't teach you how to program, they are as such, absolutely dire.

If you have never programmed before then sure it cant hurt to buy a book to study.
It does help a little, but you will learn stuff on the way.
If your brand new, start good practices now, by creating example folders and filling them with your own coded examples of how stuff works.

think about an easy game idea and try it out by designing a flow chart or a series of ideas that makes up the game.

thanks i am going to think of making just applications for now soon ill buy a book and make a game someday. Im going to use world studio or world building stuff of watever.

Remember to start yourself with something small, don't go jumping into a huge project that will end up being to difficult for you.
