Does anyone know how to send the audio in (the mic socket), straight out of the speakers?

Is there some program I can download...?

MorphVOX Jr can make your voice sound weird, and normal, and you can choose if it has a delay, or just straight out the speakers.

Hmmm. Normally you can do this with any Sound blaster/creative type card. You can mute/unmute all the different channels, one of which is normally the microphone. It's probably muted by default. When you unmute it, it instantly outputs whatever you say into the mic. On my creative mixer, the microphone isn't available by default. I have to choose one of the other channels, such as auxillery2, pull down the dropdown and select microphone. I can then unmute that channel and it plays through the speakers.

Monitoring your mic through speakers is a rather bad idea - feedback can and will destroy your speakers, not to mention the effect it has on your ears/sanity/status with neighbors.

However, if you insist... the soundcard propterties window can handle it, assuming you have a decent soundcard or, preferably (if you're into music production/recording), audio interface. Failing that, most music apps that support audio recording also have an option to select the monitoring thingamajig (forgive my technical terms )

Just turn the 'mute' option off the microphone and turn the volume up, and it'll play straight through to the speakers Quite simple really

EDIT: Under playback, not recording

Yeah, that worked, it was hidden. I had to go to options to show it.

Thanks everyone!
