Ok, I just tried installing a game on my new HD, and it said "That drive is unsafe, please choose another".
What wrong?

In the device manager, it said the drive type was "Basic", is this the problem? Thanks.
Edit: No, thats not it, bacause thats what my original HD was set to. So please help me ASAP. Torsten.

You did format the drive, as well as partition it, right?
If not: Windows Explorer > drive letter > right click > format

Otherwise, it may need to be installed in c/program files/etc. ?

I have an XP3000+, 1.5gb DDR333, a 6600GT and I'm programming 3k text-based exe's?!

I can't install anything in my C drive, bacause it is soooo full. I did format and partition it. I'll try again.
