Nice and very polished demo. I thought it was a little too slow and I would like to be able to shoot faster than one bullet on the screen at a time. It makes it a little too hard.

Here's a screenshot for you people:

Much better. Its really fun now. I have 2 more suggestions though:

*Make the laser enemy's lasers longer, so they are a little more challenging.
*Make it so the player can keep down the space bar, and the ship continues to shoot.

Good job

And sorry to Chris if my earlier post was offensive. It was uncalled for.

This is cool. After about 20000 points only the green ships appear, and it becomes extremely easy.
I think you should have an alternate control scheme where, when the fire button is depressed, you have autofire, and when it is not depressed, you automatically charge the super-weapon. This would offer virtually the same functionality as your current scheme, since there (as far as i can tell) is no penalty for charging your weapon and keeping it charged for any amount of time. You would still be able to tap fire to shoot in a more measured way in this mode, provided the time between shots in autofire is greater than the time it takes to tap the key.

You'll be able to click on this someday.

@UFO thanks again for the feedback. Yeah I will tweak the AI a bit more and also add new ones as well. I was thinking of letting the player hold spacebar to continue shooting, but then there's no super charge attack.

@Mr Tank the auto fire is a good idea and I will keep that in mind. I want to keep the control as simple as possible using 1 button for shooting only. The enemy is not setup through out the game yet, but will soon.

My original plan was to make the gameplay in unlimited time, but not many people will play that long. I decided to make the game 15 mins long with 3 bosses to battle. Thanks for the feedback!!!!

The game was great. I love the look of the explosions. The only thing that bugged me was you have to use the keyboard. It would have greater appeal to the masses if it could use the mouse too... even when the game is over you can have buttons to play again or quit.
