I just downloaded the trial version and was playing around with it. I am on a laptop w/ 1400x1050 resolution and the screen takes a while to flip back and forth from either the DB editor, or DarkEdit (whichever i chose to use) and the program I try to compile. If I can get DB to run in a window, things would go much faster. Thanks for any help.

I am on WinXP btw

It will take a while...the graphics card is changing modes in order to render 3D. On a laptop, I wold imagine this will take longer due to the nature of laptop components.

What do you call a while? It takes between 3 and 5 seconds on my 1Ghz Desktop with GeForce 2 card.

BTW, In a window, your app will slow down, and it will still flicker while the mode changes.

Thanks in advance.

@Maniac: I have darkedit.. It still has to change change resolutions when I run the program, and it still takes about 10 seconds to do so for some reason. thanks for the tip though
